PACKAGING DESIGN

PRODUCT DESIGN

WORK WITH INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY

Design of a coffee packaging for coffee grown by the Nasa  indigenous community, originally from the Cauca region in Colombia

The packaging  was designed and structured following the symbols and beliefs of the community, to communicate what they are as a people and the product they offer.

On the other hand, this design is essential to position the product competitively in the market, to increase its sales and its value at the national level.

Being able to represent the symbols of the community in a different and more striking way, identifiable through touch, since it generates an experience closer to the community because it allows to feel, examine, observe and know the product.

By associating the meaning of the lines with the cultural background of the symbols of the Nasa community, a relationship between the consumer and the community is created introducing their culture through touch and traditions.

Coffee produced by Indigenous Paeces belongs to the NASA Project Association of the municipality of Toribio Cauca.

It is produced on the basis of a harmonious relationship with nature and the efforts of small coffee growers.

The design supports the construction of a better future for the communities of the NASA Project Association.
